[VIDEO] VA State Trooper hits Skateboader with car

Details are still kind of sketchy on this apparent hit and run on a Skater down at VCU.  According to a Reddit post the kid wasn’t upset and didn’t press charges on the Virgina State trooper that bumped his ass onto the hood of his car.  This is what the Mainstream media had to say about the incident: LINK

[INTERVIEW] TheRVAProject talks to Noah-O x Taylor Whitelow about #MonumentAvenue

tumblr_movil2ZWag1rhfy7bo2_1280

Had the absolutely wonderful opportunity to meet Noah-O and Taylor Whitelow today. They allowed me to come into their studio as they worked on Noah-O’s project entitled Monument Avenue. They have been working on this album since January, and I must say they have truly laid the groundwork for what Virginia based hip-hop should be.

I was fortunate to be able listen to tracks from the album, and there was not a single song that left me disappointed. I can tell that a lot of pure energy went into the creative process. The album was incredibly well put together, and the production and lyricism were simply flawless. Everything flowed, from start to finish.

Tracks such as Ascension, R.i.ch, and Klephnote left me feeling nothing  pure anxiousness as I await the release of the album. Noah-O has taken his own life and experiences and made them simply relatable to all people across the map, not just here in RVA. His delivery and storytelling make for a perfect marriage to Taylor Whitelow’s beats and production. I can honestly say that this album is a much needed contribution to the hip-hop community.

Noah-O will be performing live at this years 2013 Epic Fest on Saturday. For more information on Noah-O

Only one spot in Richmond VA showed the Kanye West #YEEZUS Projection!

IMG_20130615_131314

So all the Kanye West projections got nixed last night all except for one lucky RVA business.  In real Guerrilla marketing fashion “The Show must go on” and that it did on the outside of the Restore Building (1211 East Cary St.  Richmond, Virginia 23219)  last night, Mr.  West was in the… Outside the building!  I’m guessing the folks putting this on had to switch things up at the last minute since the other 3 events were shut down due to no permits… Fuck a permit!  Yeezus comes out June 18 and Congratulations to Kanye West and Kim Kardashian on there first child born today!  Check out the 2 vine videos via @CiannaChanel
